The fruits of labor

You know I’m a musical hack but I do have great love for choral music and singing. Somehow I managed to slip past the director for the auditions of Arizona Repertory Singers. I figured if I passed the audition I’d just have to work twice as hard as those who have sung all their lives. And I do. I practice singing at the piano an hour or more a day.

This year ARS took a quantum leap in quality of sound. We jumped up by about 7 members – most of whom came from the Tucson Symphony when they cut their choir. I got more involved in recording and promoting the group. Here’s a little presentation I made of our Sunday concert…
