Wildflower walk

Richard and I went on a very long urban walk in San Francisco yesterday. We walked all the way from the Castro through Cole Valley, then through Golden Gate Park. We ended up at the ocean by the GG bridge. As you can see it was a very cloudy day which is PERFECT for wildflower photography. And because of all the rain there were a lot of them scattered about the parks and hills. Here are a few samples. I have no idea what their names are (except for the yellow one which is the Mexican gold poppy). But one doesn’t need to know its name to enjoy it.

And finally this one which was neither a flower, nor wild. But I’m throwing it in anyway. It’s a variegated succulent that looks like a flower…
