About David Gilmore

This blog is my creative outlet for writing, observations and photography. That’s me above in my dandy shirt that I designed. I’m a slightly cynical idealist living in Tucson, Arizona.

I hope you take a few minutes to read my blog. You may find it snippy at times, wry, and sometimes just sad. Sometimes you’ll find it bursting with joy. But hey, that’s my life. I pull no punches. This is my electronic living room, come in take off your shoes and relax. When you’re sick of indulging yourself in my perspective, you’re just a click away from refuge.

I enjoy hearing from you, so feel free to comment on the blog or if it’s something really private (shhhhhh), you can email me directly. And as always, be good or you might just appear on my blog.

OH, and don’t forget to order my book. It’s painfully hilariously: HomoSteading at the 19th Parallel – iUniverse.

Happy reading,

David

  1. Love your photo, David. Are sitting on steps or steppes?

  2. Hey, it’s me again. So happy to learn you’ve been in town for this dramatic week. The first time I emailed Brad he replied that he was holding Gabby’s hand and feeling utterly crushed. I reminded him of the 50th anniversary party for which you so memorably dressed. Timing is everything. I think all the subsequent publicity, capped by the imitible style, grace, and timing of the Obamas, has given the rest of the world a glimpse of what Tucson and the American southwest are about. Maybe one day they’ll understand why the Radical Fairies started coming here at the beginning of the 1950s!
